Sjøbadet in Trondheim is situated along the new promenade from Brattøra to Skansen, and it is the perfect spot for both sunbathing and swimming on a hot summer day. It’s one of very few places with an excellent diving tower and a staircase past the otherwise frequently annoying seaweed. There are separate sections for men and women as well as a common area, so nude or not – you can find your spot in the sun. The bath is as well a study worth for anyone interested in modern architecture, and last but not least: they sell coffee, Solo and excellent waffles. Come, swim!
